AFFORDABLE HOUSING BRIDGING FINANCE
NHFC provides project/development finance to developers involved in the development of affordable housing for sales to the low to middle income earners. This is a short-term development finance for the purpose of servicing of sites, construction of top structures either free standing and/or sectional titles. Loans are provided to developers who provide affordable housing/homes sold at an average of R850 000.
- Borrowing entity must be a registered legal entity
- Equity contribution is required and is determined on a case-by-case basis to enable acceptable gearing levels
- The proposed development must address core NHFC mandate and
- The project feasability must be financially viable per NHFC criteria.
